I was excited to come to Primary Children's because I wanted to be exposed to the wide variety of pathologies seen at tertiary care centers with large catchment areas. I have become comfortable not only with "bread and butter" pediatrics, but also rare diagnosis and children with complex medical diagnosis. Paramount to my experience at Primary's is the culture of optimism, hard work, and commitment to excellence. It fosters a strong sense of support and camaraderie which then translates to excellent patient care. When not in the hospital I am a mountain biking fanatic. Favorite after-work trails include the Bonneville Shoreline Trail (BST) which leaves out the back door of the hospital and can take you to City Creek Canyon. On a weekend the Park City trails cannot be beat, Armstrong up to Pinecone or the Mid-mountain traverse are classics. In the early spring or late fall, Moab trails are paradise found.
