About Me

I came to Utah for the great clinical training and great people! When I was interviewing the residents told me that they looked forward to going to work because they enjoyed the work and the people they worked with. This has been true for me too. I've been inspired by my amazing co-residents, and the opportunities that are here if you just ask for them. I've been able to pursue my research (and participate in the Utah StARR program), build a panel of patients in primary care that identify me as their doctor, and spend extra time learning about newborn physiology and congenital heart disease. Outside of work I fill my days off by training my puppy, getting drinks and Mexican food with my friends (Taqueria 27, Red Iguana, El Chubasco), and enjoying the beautiful Utah outdoors.
