Grant Writing Workshop

The Deparment of Pediatrics hosts a Grant Writing Workshop at Deer Valley bi-annually in the April and October. This workshop, open to all members of the Department of Pediatrics, teaches applicants how to write NIH-style grants. Participants may be writing applications for foundations, Career Development Awards, or large independent awards.

On-Going Research Events

Research-in-Progress (RIP)

Noon-1:00 PM Fridays (September through May), Williams Building Conference Room 223 A & B

The Departmental Research in Progress (RIP) series highlights ongoing research efforts from across the Department. Speakers range from fellows and postdocs to senior faculty. RIP offers an opportunity to learn of collaborative opportunities and provide support and feedback for faculty and trainees. Sessions occur each Friday at noon during the academic year. We currently offer a hybrid format with in-person attendance encouraged at Williams building, as well as a Zoom option.  The Zoom link is on a flyer that will be distributed to divisions weekly or can be found on the Health Sciences Calendar.

For questions about presenting in RIP, contact Dr. Lisa Joss-Moore.
