Community Mental Health Track (Elective)

Thank you for your interest in our Community Mental Health (CMH) Track! We are currently in the process of developing this track and plan to have it open to all residents starting in July 2020. We currently have residents piloting rotation sites for the track and are working on bringing several other locations on board. The CMH Track will allow residents the opportunity to rotate through elective sites that focus on serving patients who are unfunded, underfunded, underserved and/or have severe and persistent mental illness. We also have a monthly lecture series that is already underway and track residents are encouraged to help plan.

Current Rotations and Rotations in Development:

  • Volunteers of America Assertive Community Treatment Team
  • Impact Health (clinic serving exclusively unfunded patients)
  • Mental Health Integration at Maliheh Clinic (primary care clinic serving unfunded patients)

  • State Hospital Civil Unit Rotation
  • Idaho State Hospital
