This one-of-a-kind opportunity is new for AY 26-27. Much like our Idaho training track, residents in the general/CAP combined track will spend the first 3 years in the beautiful foothills of the Salt Lake Valley working alongside general residents and child/adolescent fellows. During years four and five, residents will transition to Pocatello, Idaho, to focus on outpatient training. After completion of all five years, trainees will be eligible for board certification in both general and child & adolescent psychiatry.

The application process will be the same as for the general program and rural Idaho track. One spot per year will be dedicated to this combined program. It will have a separate match number.
