Psychiatry for the Primary Care Provider

This full-day program is targeted for primary care providers looking to increase their knowledge on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. Top psychiatrists, many with primary care experience, will address an array of behavioral health issues commonly encountered in primary care settings. The event features Dr. Lori Raney, a leading authority on the collaborative care model and the bidirectional integration of primary care and behavioral health.

Well-recognized politician and mental health advocate, founder of the Kennedy Forum, former member of the President’s Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and the Opioid Crisis, and co-founder of One Mind. As the youngest son of the long-time Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy and nephew of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy, the Honorable Patrick Kennedy is no stranger to family trauma and addiction issues. Since leaving Congress, Kennedy has written and spoken publicly about his long struggle with bipolar disorder and drug addiction and become a leading advocate for a stronger mental health care system including full implementation of the Federal Parity Law.
