Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
Our residency program is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion for our trainees. We welcome everyone and recognize that a diverse program makes us all stronger and better equipped to serve our patients. The Mountain West region is a wonderful place to train and we welcome applicants from places near and far. If you haven’t seriously considered making a move to Utah, take a closer look. Our GME office offers virtual inclusion days allowing interested underrepresented minorities to chat with current trainees and answer questions about training at the University of Utah.
The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the University of Utah is committed to fostering diversity, inclusion, and equity within our Department, School, institutions at the University of Utah, and the broader global community. We believe we are at our best when we recognize and embrace the full spectrum of the human experience regardless of differences. We endeavor to cultivate and maintain an environment where all voices are welcome and heard, everyone feels that they belong, and everyone has an equal opportunity for success.
