I was born and raised on the east side of Seattle, Washington, and have lived in all five regions of the US in the course of school and training. I was an engineer prior to my medical training, and finding radiation oncology has allowed me to marry the best parts of both fields: not only do I have the opportunity to work directly with patients and families direly in need of medical care and help shepherd them through one of life’s toughest challenges, but I still get to spend large amounts of time staring at a computer in a cubicle. Training at the Huntsman has been an amazing experience and I am thankful every day for getting to learn in such a supportive environment filled tremendously talented people.
