About Me

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, spending winters skiing in Tahoe and summers at a Type 1 diabetes camp in Kings Canyon. With so much time spent around medicine growing up, I always thought I’d become a doctor, so naturally I decided to try just about everything else first. I worked all over the world as a backpacking guide, in outdoor education, and briefly as a ski lift operator and waitress before finding my way back to healthcare as an EMT. I love the fast pace, teamwork, and patient connection in Emergency Medicine.

Interests & Hobbies

I am the EM stereotype and love everything outside: shredding the gnar, hiking, and camping. When I’m lower energy you can find me drawing, trying to learn a new craft or dominating in Catan.

Why Utah?

When I rotated at Utah my fourth year, it was such a supportive learning environment, and I immediately felt like part of a team that genuinely enjoys being there. I was drawn to the program’s ability to push residents to become excellent emergency physicians while still prioritizing wellness. The large rural catchment area, diversity of training sites, and being surrounded by mountains and my hobbies are just a few things I love about Utah.
