The Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health is dedicated to the continued training of occupational and environmental health professionals. Each Continuing Education course is carefully designed to be thorough, and the faculty are chosen for their knowledge and experience. The Continuing Education (CE) program has been partially funded through our National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Education and Research Center grant since 1978 and we are a primary OSH CE resource in HHS Region VIII.
The program’s mission is to reduce human and financial costs by providing excellent short-course training in occupational safety and health that is marked by continuous improvement and response to needs, setting the highest standards for both internal and external service. For over 40 years, hundreds of programs, consisting of courses, lectures and conferences, have linked practicing professionals in academic institutions, government agencies, industrial settings, and private businesses. Target audiences include industrial hygienists, safety professionals, ergonomists, physicians and occupational health nurses.
