Elaine J. Skalabrin Stroke Symposium
Cancelled Due to COVID
March 18, 2020
Thank you for your participation in the upcoming Elaine J. Skalabrin Utah Stroke Symposium. We have been closely monitoring the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) projected impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus). Unfortunately, we have decided to postpone the Stroke Symposium to late May 2021.
Though this would be the first time since its inception in 2003 that the Stroke Symposium will be postponed, It is becoming more clear that this will be necessary to protect the safety of our attendees, and to support you in your efforts to serve your communities and families affected in this difficult time.
We are working to refund all your conference registration in full over the next 2 weeks. We currently understand that local hotels and most major airlines are not charging a cancellation or change fee for coronavirus cancelled travel plans. We hope that we can all meet together again in Salt Lake City in late May 2021.
