Rotation Dates & Other Information
Due to an increased interest in emergency medicine, all students must stay within the rotation time periods outlined on the Student Affairs website (4 weeks).
We recommend Hamilton's Emergency Medicine: An Approach to Clinical Problem Solving. Textbooks may be checked out for the duration of the rotation.
Professional dress wear.
The Office of Student Affairs in the Dean's Office will be accepting applications via VSAS only. All portions of the application must be complete for your application to be processed: transcript, board scores (Step 1), letter of interest (this is not your personal statement), background check, and 5 panel drug test.

Notification of Acceptance
Once your complete application has been received by Student Affairs, it is sent to the division of emergency medicine via VSAS for approval. The division requires a letter of interest. Once you have been approved for the rotation, Student Affairs will send you an official letter of acceptance. Emergency Medicine will contact you regarding the specifics of your rotation (where to go on the first day, your schedule, etc.)
Housing needs to be arranged by the student.
