Devi Krishnamurty, MBBS, Named General Surgery Residency Program Director

Dr. Devi Mukkai Krishnamurty, MBBS, FACS, FASCRS is an Associate Professor (Clinical) in the Department of Surgery at the University of Utah, specializing in Colorectal Surgery.  Prior to joining the University of Utah, Dr. Krishnamurty served as Associate Program Director at Creighton University, where she played a pivotal role in curriculum development, mentorship, and cultivating a culture of excellence in surgical education. In her new role as Program Director, Dr. Krishnamurty will serve the General Surgery Residency Program at the University of Utah in its mission to train world class surgeons and leaders. She is deeply committed to advancing surgical training, fostering mentorship, promoting well-being and preparing our residents for success across diverse practice environments.
