Symposiums & Travel Awards

Presenting research is an important part of the scholarly process. This page highlights opportunities for medical students to share their work through symposiums, research forums, conferences, and other presentation experiences.

Students can also find information about travel support and funding opportunities that may help make participation in research-related conferences and professional meetings more accessible.

Medical Student Research Forum

Celebrating Medical Student Research & Scholarship

The Medical Student Research Forum is an annual event that highlights the research and scholarly work of medical students across the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine. Students present their work through poster presentations, connect with faculty and peers, and share the impact of their research with the broader medical school community.

The Forum provides an opportunity to celebrate student achievement, strengthen the medical student research community, and recognize outstanding scholarly work across a wide range of disciplines and research areas.
