Academic Bio

Dr. Peters received his Baccalaurate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1962, his Masters degree in anatomy from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1966, his Ph.D. in physiology from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 1971, his medical degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1974, completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Utah School of Medicine in 1975, and a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Utah School of Medicine in 1977. He was appointed as a Research Assistant Professor in July 1970 and switched to the clinical track as a Professor in July 1988.
