    About Me

I was born in New York City but was raised in Carmel, California where I spent much of my childhood playing sports and spending time outdoors. I completed my undergraduate degree at Occidental College where I competed on the NCAA water polo and swimming teams. After graduating from college, I worked as a bond trader for 2 years before returning to medical school.

    Medical Areas of Interest

I am currently interested in all areas of orthopaedics, especially trauma and sports. My research interests include value-based care, biomechanics, and patient reported outcomes.

    Interests & Hobbies

Skiing, playing golf, hiking, mountain biking, camping, international travel, and cooking.

    Why Utah?

I chose Utah because it offers incredibly well-rounded training, balancing a high surgical volume with strong didactics and impressive academic research. Additionally, the strong comradery not only between the residents but also the residents and attendings, creates an exceptional training environment. This is clearly a resident first training program where each attending is highly invested in your education and pushes you to become an excellent orthopaedic surgeon. Also, I enjoy being located close to the mountains where I can quickly get outside to ski or hike and enjoy life outside of the hospital.
