Andrew Merryweather is an Assistant Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Utah where he teaches and directs research in the areas of injury biomechanics, rehabilitation engineering, design, and 3D human motion analysis. Dr. Merryweather obtained his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Utah in 2008. Dr. Merryweather has managed significant research projects investigating musculoskeletal injuries in the workplace, assistive technologies for persons with disabilities and many other projects involving computer simulation modeling and 3D human movement analysis to understand and reduce injuries.
