Goals
- Culture and Climate: Foster a welcoming and respectful environment that supports collaboration and values the contributions of all members of the community.
- Recruitment: Identify, attract, and recruit individuals to careers in medicine by enhancing access to educational and professional opportunities across the academic community.
- Retention: Support success and provide professional development to optimize retention and nurture career advancement for all members of the academic community.
- Training and Education: Promote education that encourages respectful engagement and collaboration across campus and in affiliated clinical sites.
- Policies and Accountability: Regularly review and guide institutional policies to promote fair and consistent practices and ensure alignment with SFESOM’s mission.
- Rural and Tribal Outreach and Community Engagement: Strengthen relationships and support educational initiatives that benefit tribal communities and foster mutual understanding and collaboration.
