Ashley Pyne, MS, RDN, CNSC, CD is a Registered Dietitian with a Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Physiology from the University of Utah. She has a certified specialty in clinical nutrition support for enteral or parental nutrition. Ashley is interested in medical nutrition therapy for gastrointestinal disorders. She has skilled training on elimination and specialty diets aimed at managing the symptoms relates to disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn's Disease, delayed stomach emptying, eosinophilic disease and small bacterial overgrowth. She has extensive experience with nutrition counseling and presentations to various ages and people with health diagnoses. In addition to seeing patients, Ashley is pursuing a PhD in Nutrition at the University of Utah. Her over-arching research interests is nutrient effects on the relationship between gut microbiota and gut barrier function coupled with the interplay of the immune response in health and disease. She has a passion to help all individuals have a tailored diet to live a healthier and happier life now, and into the future.
