Brighton Loveday, MSN, ANP-BC, AOCNP, ACHPN, APRN is a Nurse Practitioner in the Supportive Oncology & Survivorship Program at Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI). She received her ADN degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and became an RN in 1992, her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Gonzaga University in 1999, and her Master’s Degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati in 2011, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care (CHPN) from 2004-2012, she spent ten years working in community hospice and home care prior to joining HCI and was the key person to opening and developing two Wasatch Front based hospice programs. Her interests include symptom management, palliative care, and improving quality of life for cancer patients. She is a certified oncology nurse practitioner (AOCHNP), a certified hospice and palliative care nurse practitioner (ACHPN) and a member of the Oncology Nursing Society, the Hospice & Palliative Nurses Association and Utah Nurse Practitioners. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two sons camping, hiking, sailing and being in the outdoors. She also enjoys reading a good book!
