Cate Levy is a board-certified genetic counselor with a master’s degree in human genetics and genetic counseling from Keck Graduate Institute. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder in neuroscience. Cate began working at Huntsman Cancer Institute in 2023 and specializes in hereditary predispositions to bone marrow failure as well as disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis. She participates in ongoing research at Huntsman Cancer Institute, with her research and clinical work having been published in peer-reviewed journals to help contribute to the understanding and management of rare cancer predisposition syndromes.

Cate provides comprehensive genetic counseling services to patients across Utah, including those seen at Primary Children's Hospital and LDS Hospital. She works closely with Dr. Luke Maese, Dr. Casey Mehrhoff, Dr. Jessica Meznarich, and Dr. Sashi Goteti in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Dr. Mary Beth Scholand in the Division of Pulmonology, and Dr. Srinivas Tantravahi, Dr. Afaf Osman, and Dr. Richard King in Division of Hematology.
