Douglas J. Ball, MD

Dr. Ball is a clinical geneticist who sees patients of all ages with known or suspected genetic conditions. He has a special interest providing care to patients of all ages with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and other connective tissue and vascular diseases, and in providing diagnosis and treatment to adult patients with genetic conditions. Dr. Ball provides comprehensive genetic care for his patients, including preventive care, as well as the most current treatments for patients with genetic conditions.

He studied physics at the University of Utah before obtaining his medical degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where he was also awarded a master’s degree in cellular and molecular biology. Dr. Ball is board certified in both general preventive medicine and in clinical genetics. His research interests include interventions in Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and other connective tissue disorders, and implementation of precision medicine and pharmacogenomics.
