For three years I assisted research faculty at the College of Nursing with grant submissions to NIH, HRSA, DoD, and several small and large foundations. Currently, I manage research projects for Drs. Erin Rothwell and Jeff Botkin, exploring issues of informed consent for genetic research. In addition to this work, I am a member of a research team developing a valid and reliable measure of health-related quality of life (HRQOL) that can be used in both clinical and community settings to aid those institutions in their goal to improve the overall health and wellbeing of persons with intellectual and developmental disorders. I have a broad experiential and educational background in cognitive neuorscience, cognitive psychology and education. I enjoy my work with the College of Nursing and Drs. Rothwell and Botkin, where I am able to apply both my research skills and my project management skills to ensure project success.
