I am a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Utah School of Dentistry. My methodological expertise spans complex
systems science—particularly agent-based modeling—social epidemiology with multi-level methods, psychiatric epidemiology, and observational study design. My recent work applies these methods to oral health, where they are well-suited to questions about how policies and care delivery
shape population-level oral health, with attention to heterogeneous effects across populations and a particular focus on early
childhood caries (ECC).
