Jacey was born and raised in San Diego, California but has recently found a cozy new home in Utah at the beginning of 2022. In 2018, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from San Diego State University. In Spring of 2022, she will complete her Master’s Degree in Public Administration through the University of Phoenix. As an artist and activist, Jacey is passionate about creating safe spaces for underrepresented communities while encouraging dialogue and actions which lead to social impact. In particular she is passionate about working with policies or programs that advocate equitable opportunities for children and young adults. A mixed-race woman of color, and a member of the LBGTQ+ community, she firmly believes in intersectionality and the empowerment of identity and culture. As a Program Coordinator, she will work collaboratively in program development, improvement, and marketing to advance a comprehensive and successful approach to student engagement and program implementation. Her role will center around cultivating a more inclusive environment which praises diversity and uplifts students and staff.
