Jaewhan Kim is a health economist who is an expert on Medicare, Medicaid, SEER-Medicare, Utah All Payer Claims data (APCD), and State Facility data (inpatient, outpatient surgery and ER data) for health care cost and utilization research.

He is instrumental in designing and developing Utah’s APCD since 2010. Because of his expertise and experience with the APCD, he is a health economist in Utah Population Database (UPDB) who is a sought after collaborator for APCD projects.
