Jay C. Moreland, MD

Jay Moreland, MD has practiced medicine for over 30 years. He is the Medical Director for Aspen Ridge Hospice in Utah. He has been doing Hospice since 2007 and he is Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He also holds board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine.

He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Utah. He does full spectrum family practice, including obstetrics. He has been an Expert Witness on cases ranging from breastfeeding to ruptured aortic aneurism. He has an outpatient clinical practice at the 72nd Street Community Health Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dr. Moreland received a medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine, in Los Angeles, and completed residency in Family Medicine at the McKay-Dee Hospital and University of Utah Family Practice Residency in Ogden, Utah. He has been meditating for over 30 years and has his own podcast on meditation called “Dr. Jay’s Peaceful Meditation.” He plays lead guitar in a band called “Winding Road.”
