Dr. Brown is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine. She received her medical degree with highest honors from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and completed her Pediatric residency at the University of Utah/Primary Children's Hospital. She has been a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society since 2011. As a general pediatrician, Dr. Brown cares for patients primarily in the University Pediatric Clinic 6 as well as the University Hospital Well Baby and Intermediate Care Nurseries, focusing on preventative and acute health care of infants, children, and adolescents. She particularly enjoys helping families navigate vaccine-related questions/concerns as well as caring for adopted children and children with special healthcare needs; additionally, as a Certificated Lactation Educator Counselor (CLEC), she has a special interest in supporting breastfeeding mother-infant dyads.
