I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health & Kinesiology at the University of Utah. My research is physical activity epidemiology and physical activity interventions for physical and mental health in adolescents and young adults. Teaching includes courses in Research Design and Analysis (Statistics) and Motor Development Across the Lifespan.

Research Statement

My research is in the longitudinal relationship among physical activity, health, and cognitive functioning in the pediatric and young adult populations. Additional interests span public health including physical activity epidemiology, health-related fitness, and injury prevention.
