Christian Dial, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Utah and a Medical Physicist at Huntsman Cancer Hospital. Dr. Dial received a BS in Physics from the University of Utah and completed his doctoral work at Virginia Commonwealth University where his thesis focused on the benefits of adaptive radiation therapy for lung cancer. Dr. Dial completed residency training at the University of Colorado Denver in therapeutic medical physics. Dr. Dial's clinical and research interests include adaptive radiotherapy, programming for automation and efficiency, and stereotactic radiosurgery.
