Malcolm Berenson, M.D., is a Gastroenterologist at the University of Utah Hospital, Huntsman Cancer Hospital, and Redwood Health Clinic. As a Gastroenterologist, his clinical interests include treatment, diagnosis, and continuing care for gastrointestinal diseases and endoscopy.
Dr. Berenson received his Medical Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1963. He received training in medicine and Gastroenterology from the University Health Center of Pittsburgh, the Veterans Affairs Medical Center of Salt Lake City, and the University of Utah Hospital. In the past, Dr. Berenson served as Chief Medical Resident, Acting Chairman of the Division of Gastroenterology-Hepatology-Nutrition, and the Director of the Clinical Nutrition Training Program. He is currently a Professor of Medicine, a member of the Salt Lake County Medical Society and the Utah Medical Association.
