Martin Caravati, MD, MPH, is a board-certified physician specializing in medical toxicology. He specializes in caring for children and adults who have experienced poisonings, exposures to toxins, chemicals, heavy metals, snake or spider bites, or adverse reactions or overdoses of medications. He is Director of the Clinical Toxicology Consult Service at University Hospital and Primary Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Caravati has served on the board of directors for the American Association of Poison Control Centers and the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of the journal, Clinical Toxicology.
