William H Barry MD, is a Professor at the University of Utah, and is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. As an Interventional Cardiologist, his clinical interests include management of ischemic heart disease, congestive heart failure, and hypertension.

Barry received his MD from Harvard Medical School. He received training in medicine and Cardiology at Stanford University. In the past, Barry served as faculty member at Harvard and Stanford Medical Schools. He is currently a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a Fellow of the American Heart Association, and a member of the Association of American Physicians. He served as Chairman of the Research Committee of the American Heart Association, and as President of the Association of University Cardiologists.
