Kirtly Parker Jones received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. This early interest in the mysteries of early human development led her to medical school at the University of Colorado and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology and fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Parker Jones joined the University of Utah in 1983, working in the in-vitro fertilization program. She also teaches reproductive medicine to medical students and physicians. Her husband, Chris Jones, M.D., PhD, is the director of the University of Utah Sleep/Wake Center, and her son, Breck, is also involved in patient care. Her hobbies include reading and walking the Colorado Plateau.
