Dr. Roger Harrie is a clinical professor of ophthalmology at the John A. Moran Eye Center. He practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a special interest in ocular ultrasound. He has written a number of articles for scientific journals, several book chapters, and a textbook with a second edition now in process. He is on the executive board for the American Association of Standardized Echographers and the International Society for Diagnostic Ultrasound. He is actively involved in humanitarian eye care in developing countries and has participated in research projects in these areas.
