Dr. Clint Allred is an Assistant Professor in the University of Utah School of Medicine. His clinical interests are broad as they apply to the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disorders. Particular interests include diagnosis and management of lipid disorders, prevention of cardiovascular disease, rehabilitation of deteriorated cardiac function and optimization of cardiovascular fitness. Dr. Allred’s research interests are linked to lipid disorders and the prevention of and rehabilitation of cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Allred earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2010. He completed Internal Medicine Residency training at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in 2013 where he also served as Chief Medical Resident for an additional year. He completed his General Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Utah in 2017 where he also served as Chief Fellow. He then joined the Division of General Cardiology at the University of Utah Hospital in 2017. Dr. Allred treats hospitalized patients as well as seeing patients in the cardiovascular clinic.
