I am an accredited clinical pharmacologist with a background in clinical research in complex (e.g., pregnant and postpartum) and special (e.g., pediatric) populations. I obtained these skills as a fellow in the Utah Clinical Pharmacology Fellowship Program and efforts as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah. My research focuses on understanding drug disposition and action from conception through adulthood. Combined with my prior training and early career research experiences, I have forged a strong foundation of investigation in biomedical engineering, clinical pharmacology, and clinical trials.

Research Statement

Dr. Kathleen Job is currently a Research Assistant Professor with the Department of Pediatrics, University of Utah School of Medicine. She earned her PhD at The University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah in Bioengineering. She then completed two years of postdoctoral training in Clinical Pharmacology also at The University of Utah. She received board accrediation from the American Board of Clinical Pharmacology in 2018. Dr. Job has experience in the design of both drug and device clinical trials in diverse populations.

Dr. Job's areas of clinical research expertise include the use of drugs and devices in special populations. Dr. Job's interests are in integrating physiology and pharmacology into approaches for designing, conducting, and interpreting clinical trials
