With over 18 years of experience in healthcare data warehousing and analytics, providing data-driven solutions for innovation, value, operations, and research, I lead Data Science Services at the University of Utah's Health Sciences Cores. I am also an adjunct assistant professor at the U of U School of Medicine and College of Nursing, where I teach and mentor students in biomedical informatics, health systems innovation, and data science.
I have a diverse and interdisciplinary background in law, biomedical informatics, bioengineering, and biotechnology, which enables me to tackle complex problems at the intersection of technology, science, and regulation. I am passionate about data, learning, and solving challenges that improve healthcare outcomes and quality for our patient community. My goal is to leverage my skills and expertise to advance translational research and evidence-based practice in healthcare.
