C. Richard Henriksen, M.D., M.P.P., is a board-certified family medicine physician specializing in preventive care with a focus on nutrition and improved lifestyle. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts degree in behavioral science and health. After finishing his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, he returned to Salt Lake City to complete his family medicine residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Henriksen currently teaches medical students in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine. In his leisure time, Dr. Henriksen enjoys attending sporting events, and actively participates in individual sports, including triathlons, cycling, CrossFIt and hiking. Dr. Henriksen is currently welcoming new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
