Dr. Thomas McGarry specializes in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He has broad expertise in the ablation of ventricular tachycardia, as well as in the implantation and extraction of pacemakers and defibrillators. His special interests are complex ablations, atypical atrial flutter, recurrent arrhythmias after ablation, and inherited arrhythmia syndromes. Before joining the University of Utah he was on the faculty at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He is the author of over 30 publications and is a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society.
