Research Statement

I am a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences. I currently oversee the cognitive and clinical data collection for an Autism Centers of Excellence (ACE) Network project and co-lead the Data Collection Core. This project follows a prospective longitudinal cohort of typically developing and autistic adults and examines cognitive, clinical, and physical and mental health measures in relation to brain imaging and biological aging. My research goals are to examine structural brain and neurocognitive changes in health-related conditions, aging and neurodevelopmental conditions throughout the lifespan.

Over the past 18 years, I have been involved in longitudinal studies of autism from childhood into adulthood at the U of U. We appreciate the time and participation from our participants, as our longitudinal projects would not be possible without the continued support from our participants and families.
