Dr. Tariq Mosleh is the antimicrobial stewardship pharmacist and researcher for Utah Health Department and Human Services HAI/AR program. He graduated from the University of Florida with a PharmD and a PhD in Biochemistry from Utah State University. His diverse experience includes pharmaceutical manufacturing, retail and clinical hospital pharmacies, research, and education. He is focused on Implementing antimicrobial stewardship program in different healthcare settings in Utah, Serving at Utah Health Infection Prevention governance committee- antimicrobial stewardship subcommittee chair.

Experience

August 2022 – Present HAI/Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist lead, Utah Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) ▪ Implementing antimicrobial stewardship program in Long Term Care units and nursing homes in Utah, Serving at Utah Health Infection Prevention governance committee- antimicrobial stewardship subcommittee chair. Started antimicrobial educational ECHO webinar series in collaboration with University of Utah and Utah Department of Health and Human (https://physicians.utah.edu/echo/post-acute-care).

April 2025- Current: Adjunct assistant professor, University of Utah, School of Medicine, Epidemiology department.

August 2020 – Current: Courtesy Clinical Assistance Professor, University of Florida, School of Pharmacy – Gainesville, FL ▪ Student Support – Provide online student support, follow-up on academic progress and response to inquiries.
