Thomas Martin, PhD, DABR, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Utah and a Medical Physicist at Huntsman Cancer Hospital (HCH). Dr. Martin received his BS in Physics from Utah State University, and his PhD in Medical Physics from University of California, Los Angeles. He completed his residency training in Medical Physics at the University of San Antonio Health Science Center, and prior to joining HCI was a Medical Physicist for Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada. Dr. Martin's research interests include patient safety, image guided radiation therapy (IGRT), adaptive radiotherapy, and clinical implementation of new technology.
