Samuel Brown, M.D., M.S., is an attending physician in the Shock Trauma ICU at Intermountain Medical Center and assistant professor of pulmonary and critical care at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Board certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine, and a testamur of the National Board of Echocardiography. His clinical interests include life-threatening infection (“sepsis”), acute lung injury, and the function of the heart and blood vessels during life-threatening illness.
