Richard Guy LaMere, MD, is a board-certifed physician specializing in pediatrics, adolescent medicine and family medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of California Sacramento, and completed a pediatric residency at David Grant Medical Center. Dr. LaMere’s professional interests include caring for children and adolescents with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), drug and alcohol addictions, allergies, asthma and sports and fitness-related issues. He is also a certified fitness instructor and has led research efforts at the Cooper Institute of Aerobic Research. Dr. LaMere has a passion for teaching, and is a three-time recipient of the Outstanding Pediatric Instructor award from the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. In his leisure time, Dr. LaMere enjoys snow and water skiing, biking, scuba diving, and gardening, all with his wife of 42 years and their children and grandchildren. He is currently welcoming new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
