Dr. Priyanka Kanth received her Medical Degree from Kasturba Medical College in India. She obtained graduate training in Internal Medicine from St. Mary’s Hospital in the United Kingdom and the University of Connecticut in the United States. Dr. Kanth completed her fellowship in the specialty of Gastroenterology at the University of Utah, after which she joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Medicine.

Dr. Kanth specializes in the treatment, diagnosis, and continuing care of patients with esophageal disease, general gastrointestinal disorders and hereditary gastrointestinal cancer syndromes. Her research interests include the study of colon polyps, sessile serrated colon polyps, colon cancer prevention and high-risk familial gastrointestinal cancer. Dr. Kanth has received research and travel grants in support of her research work and has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals.
