Amanda Breviu, MD, is an Assistant Professor within the Division of General Internal Medicine and the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah Hospital. Dr. Breviu is a hospitalist with special interest in quality improvement, patient safety and the education of medical students and residents. She is also an Associate Program Director for Quality/Safety for the Internal Medicine residency program.

Dr. Breviu received her MD from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 2013. She completed residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Utah, where she served an additional year as a Chief Medical Resident following her residency. She joined the University of Utah Division of General Internal Medicine in 2017. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
