Graduated from BYU in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science of Nursing degree and worked in adult critical care for 17 years. Graduated from U of U with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree in 2017 and have worked in family medicine ever since. Special interest in mental health management in a primary care context, functional/root cause approach to medicine, concussion management, thyroid care, and evaluation and treatment of pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorder after streptococcus infection (PANDAS). Extensive community outreach experience with lectures ranging from mental health and suicide prevention, to management of injuries in the backcountry. Volunteer with the Timpanogos Emergency Response Team since 1996, and actively involved in training. Assistant professor at the U of U since January 2020.
