Dr. Magdo is an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Utah. Dr. Magdo specializes in pulmonary hypertension, heart failure and caring for patients who have undergone heart transplantation. She also has a general pediatric cardiology clinic.

Dr. Magdo has a special interest in the screening of premature infants with bronchopulmonary dysplasia for pulmonary hypertension, as well as the management of infants with pulmonary hypertension.



Dr. Magdo received her undergraduate education at Duke University and her D.O. degree from Western University of Health Sciences. She completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, and her pediatric cardiology fellowship, along with an advanced training fellowship in Heart Failure/Transplant and pulmonary hypertension, at the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.


Dr. Magdo is a member of the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation and the American College of Cardiology.
