Jeff is a wilderness medicine fellow at the University of Utah where he is focused on academic interests including high physiology and avalanche safety. A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, he completed emergency medicine training at the University of Rochester. As a resident, he developed and directed a wilderness medical elective for medical students and taught wilderness first aid to forest conservation field staff in Sukadana, Indonesian Borneo. Jeff has twice participated in climbing patrols with the National Park Service on Denali. In his free time, he enjoys climbing, skiing, and mountain biking.
